I have a couple questions concerning my 2001 Audi A6 2.7 turbo. My electric windows wont work until about 1-2 minutes after I put the key in the ignition. The car came from an aucton and I only have 1 key and its not the one with the sensor in it. is that the reason the windows wont work right away?

Nov 4, 2019 路 windshield wiper and washer not working. Update on wiper and washer problem. The LKQ wiper assembly did work. FYI you do have to have the hood completely closes for the wipers and washer to work. After many hours of research I happened onto a service advisory that talked about how to reset the wipers and the hood electrical connection.

May 16, 2001 路 There is some way to throw the interior cover all the way back without putting the glass all the way back, I think you have to have the sunroof partly open. If you do this, the sunroof won't close, as it needs to bring the interior cover at least the two inches forward. Running the sunroof all the way open and back to closed fixes it.

There is a switch down on the pedal arm that closes when you press the pedal down, and sends a sensing voltage to the controller, telling it the brakes are applied. This allows the transmission lock to disengage so you can shift out of Park.
